In regards to the DS buoy, I "friended" the buoy on facebook. On the wall it says it was scheduled for a January 2012 repair. i guess that didn't happen.

I use SSTOL and it has been a great service. Would be nice to have the NE1 chart updated a little more often in the off season. But the IPad app is awesome and overall I have been really satisfied with the service.

Hi Guys - We just got back from the OC boat show and had a great time. We enjoyed meeting all of the TF'ers who stopped by the booth to sign up or to just chat. On Friday we got a fishing report from one of our members of stripers along the beach and on Saturday morning at sun up Capt. Tony, Capt. Dave Kerrigan, myself and Capt. Tony's boys took the CLEAR SHOT out and caught a 40" striper 2 miles off the beach around 94th Street. We couldn't hang around to catch more and were back at the dock by 8AM and back at the booth by the 10AM show open time. Pretty cool catching stripers in February before the boat show - never done that before. The big bite was 14 miles south of the inlet where there were acres of birds and bait and all of the fish you could catch.

We also were exited to learn at the show that our members Capt. John Devenny (Wee Wun IV) and Capt. Sean Welsh (Restless Lady) were the big winners at the 2011 White Marlin Open with first place finishes in the white marlin and blue marlin categories respectively - way to go guys!

Our boat show special price is still available to any TF'ers who sign up before March 1 - just shoot me an email and I will send you the link you will need to use to get the special pricing. Also, like I said before, if anyone is not satisfied with the service just send me an email before June 1 and I will happily refund your membership. We have been doing this for 16 years and have a renewal rate of over 95% so I am confident once you give us a try you will be happy with the service.

We are putting the final touches on our Android App and it will be ready for the Android Market Place in about 2 weeks. If anyone has an Android device and wants to be a beta tester I can send you the current version of the app to try out and would appreciate your feedback and any bugs you note.

Stripers in February!

My oceantemp just expired and still on the fence on which service to use. I do like SSTOL layout and features but 4/15 - 11/15 does not work for me and neither does only one update per day. I may go back to oceantemp.

I like the SST app I have it on my DROID and is incredible. Does everything you can do at your home computer and it's right in your pocket!
