    The bay season may be closed, but.......the Lake Anna action is just started
    Nothing better than still being able to scratch the fishing itch in January

    Were these fish trolled up, jigged, etc.? I have not fished Lake Anna in 15 years but I do remember catching them with live shad too.

    SlateDog, I tend to fish live bait for stripers on Anna. I seem to catch more fish with real thing out there. I have had success with artificial baits as well, but not as much.
