    Default chasin cottontails

    Busted the brush friday on some land we lease for deer hunting. Going in and out deer hunting we saw rabbits and plenty of sign all fall. Had my buddy bring the beagles as he is always looking for good spots as they seem few and far these days and hoped to jump a few. Turned loose at 8 15 am in 20 mph winds and they had jumped by 20 min after 8. Ran rabbits constantly from then until 2 when we stopped. Thick stuff so hard to see the rabbits but the beagles held there own and brought the rabbit back sometimes 3 or 4 times before we would get our shot. Ended up jumping 10 and killin 8. Always a treat to hear the beagles running.
