Default Did I hear right on WNAV that pochers were charged in ES trial?

On the way to work this morning about 0715...thought I heard that charges were brought against several ES watermen for oystering violations, including oystering in a sanctuary??? Didn't get the names, but is this a win for the TF guys putting pressure on DNR and State courts???

No, it's just another gang of hard working poachers hitting another sanctuary. Remember the motto, "Better get 'em today 'cause tomorrow they'll be gone!" 2 instances of groups of boats working together to rape a sanctuary with power dredges, 10 days apart. Almost seems organized, don't it? Couldn't be, though, everybody knows these folks are rugged individualists, they would never conspire together, right?

They were respectful and polite when they received the citations is what I heard. Until the trial, they can go oystering again, to make some money to pay the fines. Glad to see them caught and the news made publicly. Can't keep defending them on the grounds that their way of life is being taken away from them, when they are giving commercial waterman a black eye. Them judges on the shore should have a article written about the way they handle poachers. Poachers sure are making it easy to hate them. I keep reading posts that poachers are being handle, but want to see factual proof that fines are bigger and jail sentencing is happening to reoeat offenders.
