Hey guys,

I work in Columbia NC and have heard a lot about fishing the Roanoke River near Weldon in April-May. It sounds like something that I want to get into. I watched a couple of videos and saw that there seems to be some pretty good sized boats being used. I have a 24DLX Carolina Skiff with 130 HP outboard. Can I safely use it to fish in the river? Does anybody know if there are certain spots to avoid? Thanks in advance to any and all that reply.
