    Default looking to purchase orange baskets

    I am looking to buy 3 baskets and live in southern MD. I have found some online for as low as 12.50 but was not an online store. Does anyone no the cheapest place to buy them online and have them delivered or a local store in the solomons are. Thanks.

    St Marys County, look up the mennonite/amish veggie dealers selling crops and supplies. You won't find them cheaper from what I hear (like $10 each). Just make sure you don't get the ones from China. Let us know what you find.

    For a few years I supplied orange baskets for the guys here on TF. I purchased mine from a produce supply company as you stated only two miles from my home. The problem like everything else, the cost climbed higher and higher. I no longer can purchase these baskets for $11.00 ea. up here and when you consider the gas needed to get here or shipping cost it's not worth it. I would check out both of the guys that rj posted. I know that both sell these baskets.

    FWIW: Might want to check if they are bushel size.

    Kinda remember some being bigger and DNR giving crabbers a tough time about the basket being wrong legal size.

    The orange basket capacity is 10 gallons.

    Wooden baskets are 8 gallons.

    Same here (Laundry) after i find out you have to have a wood bushel on board regardless-why bother...
