Nice but you might regret posting that much info.

Nah.
With all of the problems you will encounter getting an Operators License to run a boat in DC waters and then having to buy their License and put up with all the boat checks and Security. We got run off the River last Tuesday from the Mouth of the Anacosta
at 3:45 pm because the President spoke at 9:00 pm that night. 6 Coast Guard boats, 1 with 2 machine guns, 4 with manned machine guns,
surrounded us and politely asked us to leave. Boy that is Oxymoronic, politely with a machine gun.
Alot of people are starting to Catfish as I have now done for years. It was hard to learn the ropes and the spots except for a few people who were willing to help. There is plenty of room down there and a great place to take kids. Lots and lots of Helicopters and Airplanes and police boats. Plenty to see. I try not to fish the Weekends and through the week you have the whole river to yourself.
Ive been hitting it hard myself since the mid 90's but have seen the amount of people multiply over the years. I understand helping someone out but posting like that on an open forum will only lead to trouble.
There are catfish everywhere in the Potomac. The spot doesnt matter.
