Thumbs up sat. hatteras CATCHING REPORT! **video added**

left Hatteras inlet Saturday morning for some jigging action and we found some. first boat on the 230 rocks. 40fa had 69 degree blue water and it didn't take long and the guys were hooking up. first wave was fat alberts then we started getting sharked. some were hitting the jigs, and some were nailing our fish. managed one 12# blackfin, bunch of donkeys, countless alberts, but were tired of loosing gear to the sharks so we went searching up the line. up around the 270 put a planer rod out and no more than 10 seconds got hit. added a slinger dolphin to the box. a few more followed him in that we weren't ready for and were unwilling to take the jigs that were promptly slung at them. didn't see any promising marks all the way up to the 280 so the call was made to run back down to the 230 to donate more jigs to the sharks and try to scratch out some more blacks. found a nice Little honey hole along a little break that started producing some nice blackfin up to #19 along with more jacks, FA's, blue runners, and of course more sharks. left them biting at 3:30 for a smooth ride in at 36kt. awesome crew worked together great to put 6 blackfin in the boat only one under 12#. sore arms and big smiles.

Nice Jed. Glad you made it out & found the Blackfin home. We are gonna do Wed & Thursday. Also some talk of Fri if the fishing is good & crew scheduels work out.
I just got back last night and I'm already planning the next adventure.

Only the truly ate up understand the maddness.

Great to see. I'm hoping we get a wx window on Mon/Tue to run from VA Beach to Hatteras.
When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun.
