CBBT...go get 'em.
Need some help catching those things Brian!!!Mike W.
Not to hijack the thread but what are you using for bait right now and where are you getting it?
well, if ya'll think the water is warm enough at the CBBT, I just might try on Saturday. Slack tide is just about 9am and again about 3:40. I'll probably try early, it's the end of the flood. Clams, frozen fiddlers and what ever else I can find. I'll start calling around and see if/what any shops have in stock. I just thought the water temps might be too cold.
Jonah crabs and you can get them from a guy who harvests them and sells them on Craigslist.
I vote to save your gas $$ based on last weekends tog strikeout-I believe the water temps are too cold now. James and I only saw 44 on a favorite tog hole of yours on the other side of the bay, and back over this side as well. Id imagine its not much better at the CBBT. Probably at the tower reef or triaingles you might have a better chance. Couldn't believe we didn't get a nibble-month ago we were crushing them. Don -you know of folks catching right now at CBBT?

Holler if you get into them! Heading to Cape Charles Friday for a weekend fish fest.
I hear ya' Hamish, I haven't been there since last March. Seems on the satellite shot, the west side of the Bay is warmer, so BRR makes sense. I'd like to have a first hand report from the CBBT , would be nice to find fish close to home. But...... I might just head to the Tower and Triangle wreck...... looks like light winds![]()
