    Smoked them today between the 2nd and 3rd Islands, up to 8 lbs. Clam worked just fine.

    I certainly would be interested to hear of your catch of Togs if you do work the CBBT for them.

    I still think it is to cold for them to be active there but then there are others who think otherwise.

    Flounderman (Chuck),

    I think I'm with you, it's a bit too cool for Taugs being real active. While diving the offshore wrecks, generally Taugs are real slow in cool water (you've seen some of my video) and don't often get around to the bait. Around the pilings and rocks it may be different. Lots of current might keep them moving about more.

    As for me...we got more than a foot of snow last night. I think I'm going to curl up in my sleep system and hibernate until the spring thaw. Only come out for food...like Taugs.
