I've been considering joining the sharpies one year for the fest- I do alright on the flatties around PLO, might just be luck, though. Y'all base out of Wacha, or Chinco? Anywhere to park an RV and boat overnight for cheap(read "free") in the area?

Pat if some of the usual pirates that attend can vouch for you will be welcome to park at my place . I also have a rental in Exmore that might be available during the event .

It is a get together of guys here on TF in the wachapreague and chincoteague area to flounder fish and have fun . they usually try to fish the first or second weekend in April . some boasting and other usual BS is accompined with this event and a goodtime will be had by all .

I have a couple of crews from TF that I have fished with over the years and we have had a great time . this past year they had a big fish pool , plus get together on sat night . this is a great way to meet others and have a good time . yes there are a few beverages consumed during the nonfishing hours .

some of the usual crew will start to respond here as soon as spring fever sets in . I know hillbilly boater , timbo , steve f , stepchild will be there they would not miss it for the world .

Man yus boyz got some serious spring fever. Must be these 70 degree Feb days. Well since I usually endup some how in the planning of these things, guess its because I have a bunch of lazy friends, :-) lets start talking. Funny because Terp and I were talking about this this weekend while chasing stripped critters around the ocean. Really must be in the air. One thing we talked about was making it a little later, but it can't be too late because this thing is really about kicking off the spring and everyone getting out of the house and back on the water. Not sure we ever thought we were going to catch a lot of fish, but some fish are nice. With this in mind I propose Fri, Sat and Sun April 20, 21 and 22. The weather should be a little better and some more fish should be in. Heck if things continue like the are, it maybe too hot. And if that doesn't seem late enough, remember the first time we had this we were in Wachapreague the last weekend in March. Think it was like the 25, 26 area. Seem to remember snow mixed with rain and that a fair # of fish were caught.

I know this is the kick of of trophy season, to which I have no public comment, and I know some will not be able to make it and some will. So anyway, these are the dates that I propose and lets take it from there.
