    Default Name this fish

Caught these two around the pilings in JT. They hang with the other pan fish.
They had bright orange or yellow fins.

Oh, Owls aren't very good deterrents.
There were twice as many birds there before I got close enough to snap a photo.

Years back I caught one on the Bush at the train bridge and did just that, 7/0 hook, 24" under a bigger bobber and let em float around near the bridge. Something took it. Stripped some of it's scales off then never came back.

Golden shiner was my thought also.
Would they be legal to use live for cats now and maybe save some then cut up for rock in the spring?

    Thanks,

    Jeff
