With the unseasonable weather I'm sure everyone is fishing more that checking over tackle and preforming maintenance. Thought I'd remind everyone that now is a good time to go through your reels and clean and re lube everything. Also check your drag washers and such.

For the boat,make sure your flares haven't expired and that your extinguisher still has a charge. Go over all the screws on rod holders and electronics mounts. And for those that really need something to do, one can always wax the hull.

I also do my maintenance in February and thought I'd throw out a reminder to everyone. Even if the fishing is still great, we should make time to make sure our equipment is performing.
