February Fisherman of the Month - Entries Needed

Come on guys -- I know that at least some SRRKC anglers have been fishing. This month I have caught pickerel in the Severn (mostly small and medium), rockfish at the CBBT (a poor jigging performance last Monday), and today some yellow perch at Perryville. None of my February fish have been brag-worthy. Just for fun, here is a photo of my second smallest yellow perch from today. I had one even smaller, but the camera ran out of batteries before I could get the shot.



Somebody has to be able to beat this little fish!

What John didn't tell us is how he caught it - - he was trolling from his Kayak using an 8oz white parachute with a 12" gold glitter sassy shad - - that little perch was hungry

I did catch some larger neds today on the Patuxent, but that first photo is kind of funny.
