Spencer won't let me go with out him. I'm lucky he hates to swim. All crabs in pic were for a party and were not SOLD. He spends most of the day sleeping under the console.

Haven't gone crabbing with my bass boat but wouldn't mind trying it. My dog goes fishing with me a lot though.Click image for larger version.

If you don't go, you won't know and you gotta have bait in the water!

    Default 100lb+ lab crabber

You never know til you try. I take my lab with me. She is a big help spotting the float. Problem is she is certain I want her to retrieve it. Also, keep your eyes out for anything else that floats. If they see it first you may get some practice on your man overboard drill. If they get hot they will go for a swim.

My old lab used to be able to keep up with the boat while trot lining, he loved it. Couldn't keep him in the boat when working taps. Problem is he would drink salt water which caused all sorts of problems in the boat and in the truck.

i hardly ever leave my house without my buddy. ESPECIALLY if its boat/water related! both dogs i have had enjoyed being on the boat more than land.
