Hi Members and Friends of CCA Northern Virginia –

The Northern Virginia CCA Chapter is pleased to invite you to our Twelfth Annual Dinner and Auction taking place on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 6:00 pm. This year’s event will be at The Shriners Kena Temple in Fairfax, VA.

We are pleased to feature Shawn Kimbro as our guest speaker. Shawn is the author of Chesapeake Light Tackle – An Introduction to Light Tackle Fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. Shawn is an excellent speaker and committed to Conservation of our resources - we look forward to having him at our event.

Individual Tickets are $50.00, which includes a one-year CCA membership or renewal of existing membership - will will cover renewing your Maryland CCA membership if that is your home chapter.

We are offering an EARLY BIRD special coupon worth $20.00 off any auction item for those who purchase tickets prior to February 28th.

We will have a very large raffle with an L.L.BEAN Kayak, an HDTV, and a YETI Cooler as the featured prizes –and 35+ additional raffle prizes - plus a cash drawing!

In addition - we will have a fantastic assortment of over 35 Silent Auction Items – Fishing gear, Jewelry, custom Fly collections, Trolling lures, Dinner Certificates, Golf packages, and more!

The Live Auction will feature many of the Donated Fishing trips, as well as some weekend get-a-way packages such as a Bed and Breakfast, a Hand made Baby Quilt, and custom built fishing rods.

Several of the Charter Captains and Guides attend our event each year – this is an excellent opportunity to interact with them and get to know some of the experts.

We are extremely grateful to all of our Supporters and thank them for their part in helping CCA Conserve, Protect, and Restore our marine resources.

This Fundraiser will help our Chapter with many activities this year, including the “Save a Kid – Catch a Fish” trip we host each summer in Deale, MD, guest speakers, and our contributions to the State CCA office which leads our conservation efforts.

Our event is an excellent opportunity to meet many fellow conservationists, pick up some very nice Auction items, and have a great time! Several folks are buying full tables and inviting their friends and co-workers for a nice evening out. This year’s event will be catered, featuring Hors D’oeuvres, Dinner, and a Full Bar.
