Pretty work guys! Glad you guys got ya some action on such a slow day for most. Sounds like Trophy Hunter was one of the only other boats that caught a BFT & I would almost bet money he was chunking for the 4 he got. Good to see some smaller ones out there that we can keep. I was out there last Thursday on a Buddy's charter boat (Matador) & the fish were there but marking down below the thermocline at around 32 fathoms on the 450 in 50 fathoms in 71 degree water. We caught only one & that was on a Green Stick. There were no slicks or birds so I would guess they just weren't feeding much. They have been stretched from the 400 all the way up the line to outside the Point so plenty of fish are out there now. The day before they were up on the 600 in 500 fathoms & were feeding well but also it was much rougher which they seem to also prefer. I guess it's just a matter of finding them when they are up higher in the water column. Usually the best of it is in March so hopefully they will get going full force soon. Anyways good deal on the Wahoo & keeper BFT guys. I would of been there with you if it went for the NON EVENT snow storm that once again hit everyone south of us.
I just got back last night and I'm already planning the next adventure.

Only the truly ate up understand the maddness.

    Bill.

Nice work, c-note. Now, WHERE IS THE VIDEO?!?!?

I have a serious case of cabin fever and need to see some action!

Great job C-note and crew. But really, where are the pics / video. You've had time to clean the boat, eat the fish, go to work, wash the dishes, mow the yard, now post up some pics and vids. You got the only report on the board so we are all getting through the winter blues with a single report...yours. How about some more Johnny Cash songs?

Video editing is very time consuming. I've had that happen too, pc freezes up after hours of editing and lost all the work. I hate that. Here is that older ring of fire video.

Yeah man, fun trip. Great crew and great times. Perfect tuna water with just the right amount of action to start the morning. Plenty of sites to see when the fish weren't biting. Winter stream fishing is basically an aquarium. Having a 130lb bluefin blow up on a jigged bait will make any trip. Not to mention on the perfect rod to have a spirited fight. Sorry for hogging all the fish but this married man knows when to take advantage of his chances...Already looking forward to May. We need pics and video slacker.
