Default Any recomendations on a hotel in Solomons with a slip

I am looking for a hotel with a slip in Solomons this spring. Any recomendations? I don't think the wife and kids are going to join me so the accomodations certainly don't need to be 5 star. Just a bed and a place to keep the boat in the water for a couple days is fine. Trailer parking woulg be good to. Holiday Inn?

    Thanks, Jeremy

I second the Comfort Inn for what you describe. It has what you need and is likely the lowest cost. I keep my boat there year round.

The Captain's Table is great - especially for Breakfast. But the Comfort Inn is like a Nursing home. Smells like it too. I would stay at the Holiday Inn and walk over to the Captain's Table.

    Jeremy,
Call 800-521-2121 Choice hotels, ask for choice priviledges card, free and better discount than even aarp disc or call 1-800-HOLIDAY and ask to join priority club. Either way, you'll save some $ on all future stays.

Having stayed at both, I BY FAR prefer the Holiday inn. The trailer parking gets out of control at comfort inn if you are a late arrival. There is plenty at Holiday inn. There slips are both reasonable, cleaning stations do get crowded. There is a full service marina between the two hotels that was nice as well with two cleaning stations. Spring cove maybe?

Slips at Spring Cove Marina (clean and nice people) stay at the Holiday Inn, it is next to Spring Cove.

I booked a slip and a room at the Holiday Inn. Online price for a room is $145+taxes, if you get a slip the room is only $99/night. It's cheaper to stay at the holiday inn with my boat than without it. Slip was about $75 for two nights.

I had plenty of clients stay at the comfort inn......last year fishing rate was 49.99+tax......didn't have anyone complain.....never heard the "nursing home" comparison! LOL.....that wouldn't be good. Good luck with your choice!
