x2 for a coffin box instead of forward seating in smaller (under 30') center consoles.

The fact that you're going out on the Bay (presumably) with a Force motor......means that you're pretty bold, and that automatically qualifies you for some version of a "Man-Card", LOL.

Actually, my new (to me) Redneck tin boat has a 1985 Force 125 2 smoke (pun intended) motor on it. You would think there's a 4 alarm fire nearby when she's idling. Force motors have a pretty bad name/reputation in the outboard industry. However, the more I look into them, their history and performance, I've been quite surprised by how many people stand by, owned, or currently own them. They were low end for sure, and very simple motors. Simple also means easy to maintain, easy to work on, and no fancy electronics. I've been out 5 times now using my 27 year old motor, and it is strong and runs great. If they're maintained and taken care of properly, then they'll take care of you. Oops, didn't mean to hijack this thread.

    Eminent brother Graybeard,

So are you going to become a new boat owner, or take that permission slip and apply it towards a nice used rig to save a few dollars?

Eminent Brothers anbd esteemed fellow parker owners:
Fear not I'm keeping my Parker and my Man Card and not getting a Grady. Like I coulod afford it anyway!!!! But I had to hear how SHE always liked the Grady better than the Parker because it was so pretty and SHE wanted me to get a Grady instead of a Parker. And SHE said if I EVER want to get a new boat, it will have to be a Grady or something else that's pretty like a Grady. In another 5 years I'll most likely need one of those mobility scooters anyway and they don't come with a tow rating.......

And till you want to run in a 3-4 ft sea and don't want to compress your spine. I fished out of a 2520 for the last 6 years and will say that it will beat you up if you want to run anywhere. They are great for trolling or drifting because of the flat bottom but like I said don't run anywhere.
