Thanks for taking the time to report. You got the only report on the board which is always better info than the non fishing report posts.
Trolled for Rocks from just north of Sandbridge to about 4 miles below the VA/NC line with no hits, no runs, no errors. Water temp was 46.5 degrees - fished depths from 35 to 60 feet. Very little bird life, no whales, and almost no bait on the sounder. Ocean really looks barren.

I was out today as well and the near shore water looked really dirty, muddy or what ever you want to call it. I had figured it was going to be a slow day so I was going to bring my neighbors son out to see the whales but I couldn't find the whales either. Thanks for adding a south report to the barron waste land north of Rudee. It was a great day to be on the water and temps were nice too!!! Martin
Fished all day around the green can. NADA!
Where the heck did the stripers go? Are they already headed back up North or something? Granted I haven't been fishing in VA for many years but I figured the striper bite would slowly make its way down to NC. The reports haven't looked good after the random days (mainly Tuesdays) off of the oceanfront...
SPRING SPAWN....IT'S OVER.

I heard they are either in the bay or 6-8 miles off. A bunch of those guys "Tuna" fishing said they caught em 8 miles off sandbridge on saturday
