Sunday Togs and Stripers

Fished Sunday with Rick and JT. We left Messick before first light headed to the Tower Reef. Found a little rubble to set up on and started catchin almost right from the start. We managed several before the bite just shut down. Moved around a bit but couldn't seem to find another bite. We saw a beehive of Gannets working back toward the bay so we picked up and ran. Set out a few strech's and it was game on with the stripers. Caught about a half dozen before the bite turned off. Ran back to the reef and set up on another spot that produced a few more togs. Decided to call it a day and ran back into the Gannets as we approached the bay. Had to stop and give it another go and they were willing to play. Caught em till we were tired and headed on in. Tally was 20 tog from 13" up to 23.25" for Ricks paper. The stripers were mostly low 30" class fish with a few over 40" fish mixed in.
