Beautiful.
I decided to take the boat to OI from HI for the rest of the season. The plan (hope) was to pick up some yft down by HI then head north for a BFT. We cleared Hatteras inlet at about 8:00 and ran straight to the 400. The ride out was bumpy and the gulf stream was even worse. My five year old boy got sick twice but he powered through. Before getting all the lines out, we had one go down and got a 30# yft in the box. We picked at 'em for a few hrs as we worked our way north and by 2:00 we had 12 yft in the box. Then at about 2:30, we had a strike and the fish ran differently than the others. Whithin 15 minutes we had a 62" bft in the box. The ride in was nice and the inlet run was smooth. I love it when a plan comes together!

When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun.
Beautiful.
Nice work!
Very nice, see you guys in HI on friday!
Sweet. Gotta love it!
Thanks for the report and good luck out of OI. Sorry for the young guy but they do tend to out grow it as both my sons now 18 & 19 luv offshore after a quessy start.
Greg
Maybe next time you guys will let me get a turn to crank. Thanks for having me, and tell Gritty I said thanks for the help in the engine room.
Sean: The twins love to mate and mate only and I had my hands full up top with ol' Gritty recycling his breakfast. The twins will rig, run a spread, clean fish, etc but refuse to fight fish. It's kinda fun for guys that love to crank--until about the 5th fish. You gave those fish an @ss whoopin'. I only fought 2-3 and had enough in those rough seas.
BTW, I tried to post a short video but couldn't embed it into the post. I tried through Photobucket and through Facebook.
