Looking to do a smallmouth trip

Any suggestions on a good place to yak for smallies this weekend? We're in MD (Bel Air). Would like to keep travel time to under 2hrs. We were thinking of trying the Juniata/Susky area. Open to suggestions.

I hear the pond at Laurel Valley has some monsters, and decent sea trout too..............

broad creek is in harford county. ive heard of small mouth there. never fished it. would like too. good smallmouth i hear in the brandy wine in delaware too.

i have caught smallies up to 22 inches in the big falls river ths time of year between rt1 and rt7 good luck and be careful

I took the yak to the susky last thursday (below conowingo). Back in the day, I easily would've caught double digit #'s of smallies. I caught zero. Those stinkin cormorants are everywhere.
