With the catch reports I got from Saturday, we tried it again on Sunday. Shayne, Anthony, me, and Baylee ( my dog) drifted for flounders about a 1/2 mile to a mile off plum tree point. Anthony had caught nice fish there on Saturday and I guess he didn't leave any for us, as all we managed was an oyster toad. Yep, I said Oyster toad. Never thought I'd see a toad that close to shore. It was a good day and the fog and wind finally went away around 3ppm or so. Saw a handful other boats drifting in the river, but after talking with two people they hadn't caught anything as well. It was a nice enough day with good folks, and we had a good time.
I'm reminded of the old saying, . . the best two days to go fishing are yesterday and tomorrow. That seems to fit as I wish I was fishing today and Anthony put a whopping on them the day before.
Tight lines and screaming drags to all.
You had my hopes up for a catchin report. At least some are around, just gotta find em. Glad you folks got out.
Tight Lines.... Wally
