Catfish in the Rapp

Just heard some rumors that the catfish bite is on in the Upper Rapp above Waterview. Can anyone give me some word on this as we want to take part in the fun. The normal stuff isn't biting yet so we're looking for some tuggage from some of the little whiskered critters.

I was catching them in Lagrange Creek on a high tide. Lagrange is between Urbanna and Waterview. I had some squid out off the pier while spring cleaning the boat and they were steady. Some were in the 2 lb range which are good skinning size. I would imagine they can be found in most of the creeks and the main stem too.

Yes they are been catching them for few week now

my buddy went out last week at Hick's landing and caught a 39 lb blue amongst many others..
