Mate looking for work

I am looking for a mate job or just to learn more about being a first mate. I have been a mate for a couple of boats out of big pine key mostly for dolphin tournaments. Any response would be greatful. Willing to do whatever it takes. The water is my home.

You don't mention where you are from ? If in Tidewater or the outer banks hang around some of the marinas & inlets and talk to captains maintaining or prepping their boats for this season. Offer to help . Might be a good way to get a feel for the opportunities out there ? Good luck and be early ......
