Good news, bad news - Hatteras

Fished Fri - Sun last week, at the Point. Caught some nice sugar toads (puffers). Son caught a nice doggie, he'd rather play with them, for sport, than mess with bottom fish.

Saw something neat, shark fisherman landed some BIG sand tigers.

Then NPS shut the dang place down this morning (it was still open at 4-5pm Sun).
Last year it didn't re-open until mid-July.

only been down there a few times, but what/where is this 'Point'? Also, what do you mean the NPS shut it down?
