Sorry to hear you didn't get your keeper but it looks like a nice day on the water. Just a few more weeks until I put my boat in for the season. Can't wait.
No luck for me today....hooked a few but lost 'em before I got 'em to the boat... but I did see a few caught so there are at least a few around.

derekd- thanks. I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to flounder fishing. I just grabbed my gulp and a few jigs but maybe I should have used minnows? Spent most of the day in the Thorofare with about 15 othere boats but everyone was nice and worked well together.
Try tipping your gulp off with a bull minnow that might do the trick. Sorry you did not have any luck but you’ll get um next time. Looks like you had a nice day out there anyway.

Catch was a little slow, but the tide was wrong for early season.....We managed 1 keeper about 22' or so and a bunch of skate----was a great day on the water though:)
Keep up the posts I may try this weekend. Would be nice to know where the best area is.
Gargatha and south :)
Hopefully we're able to catch a few keepers this year now that they lowered the limit. They didn't lower it much but every little bit helps.![]()
