Great flat ride out of the inlet at dark thirty. Started about 4 miles south of the point and had a double of skipjack about 30 minutes after lines in. Then nothing. Picked up and ran south after a few hours of no bites and wound up about 8 miles or so south of the point. About an hour later 1 nice 30lber in the box. 10 minutes later nice slinger mahi on red/white illander. Fished w/ the fleet in 73-74 degrees around the change. They were catching 1 here and there, saw a couple boats have doubles. Ended up going 2 for 3 on yft. Winds picked up as expected, all in all not a bad day.

The ride out was almost too calm. We really worried about the bite with such calm seas. Thanks for the report. Martin
