Default Restless Lady fishing report Apr 13, OC, MD Seabass

RESTLESS LADY-- Friday April 13th- first trip of the year.
Checked the shoals in the morning for stripers none to speak of.
We went on to the eastern reef, water temp 50 degrees. SEA BASS WERE BITING BUT AS WE KNOW they are not in season. Had a great group, caught plenty of sea bass, dog sharks, released all of them, but for sure deep wrecks are loaded with bass would of had a limit if season was in. Rumors of the first bluefins being caught but not confirmed. We have group on standby, watching weather get back to you soon. Will get reports from the deep soon.....Fun day, great job Capt. Todd

    Thanks from the Restless Lady

Rock on Sean! The Canyon Draggin' is gassed and ready for an early TUNA bite. I think TYhe Muff Diver is ready to role also. Looking forward to a great 2012.

Isn't it friggin crazy they closed Tog today and you can't keep a Seabass until May 22 . Two of the most abundant species in VA. Commercial fishing for both species is open and tog is 15" while rec fishing is 16"

The old muff better not go into gear where she is at right now.... Falling off of jack stands would hurt! I think she is going in soon though. Wayne, joe and the guys were getting her ready this past weekend. Nice going in the bass there captain Todd!
