New River Baitfish Info

We went fishing for a couple hours in the section after big falls and we didn't have much luck again, but we headed to the opposite bank and found THOUSANDS of minnows over there. In and around the lily pads and logs on that side. Looked to be small 2-3", grey/silver with dark band. I've never seen that many fish in the NR. We fished around but never saw any bass, maybe wrong time of day. Water clarity was about 4', water was a bit low and it was hot out today.
