good report brad. did you know that i/t has some of the best brim around. i use to fish it every sunday years ago and i might try it again this summer. i can show you some of the places we fished. great size. big old purple knot headed brim.
Pete and I went for a while on Sat. Bream are there but still a little sluggish. I'm thinking they should be "on" this weekend if the weather stays warm.
We only had 4 keeper size bream, but also caught small bass and crappies. Plenty of fish for a fun time.

dustdew, you should try my technique, a 2.5 or 3 inch creme natural worm on a gold aberdeen hk weightless under a round 3/8 strike indicator about 2 to 3 ft up
I have tried the dry fly (nymph) on a trailer leader off a popper and done fairly good but got lots of snags too. I think the worm idea is great. Do you use weight forward line Bennett?
Yea sir... And a 8' fairly stiff action 7-8wt for that technique....
At Anna and LCR, I have been getting ALOT of nips on my line where it enters water surface. ( small bream)
PP- More info. on the worm? Where to buy and which color?
I usually fish a #14 unweighted nymph (Hare's Ear or Pheasant Tail) about 6" below a foam hopper.
Sometimes they'll nail that hopper but if not, the hopper is an indicator for the nymph. I think most of the time the "splat" of the hopper brings them over for a look and then they see that little nymph and can't resist.
