Could anyone give me a report for Richmond today?

I'm planning on taking my son out tomorrow for the first time and would like any shad reports from today in Richmond. Thanks for your help.

my brother went down to where the annabell lee use to be for shad yesterday (11th). supposeivly it was pretty slow bc the river was still to high and muddy

Fished Sunday 4/10. Two of us had 85 Hickory 0 Whites. Also fished 4/11 PM and had 59 Hickory and 1 White. Water conditions were perfect. Spoons, darts and flies all worked. Fly was the best using 200 grain Air Flo line.

We fished from the ramp to just below 14th street bridge. One rule that I find to be correct MOST of the time is this: if you are not catching fish you probably need to fish deeper. Either add a split shot or two or you can get deeper by casting a little further up current and pause a while before starting your retrieve.
