Start of Season

Missed an absolute monster this morning that came in textbook. had him gobble all the way to me thru the woods as soon as he hit the field strutted all the way across to my decoy, answered every yelp i made with double and triple gobbles. It is really awesome when you get to witness it go down right but I missed at about 40 yards due to some unlucky circumstances and man has my stomach been in my throat since i pulled the trigger.

however did start the season out nice with this good old bird even though he is not the biggest, can't beat killing a turkey then getting into the crappie on fly , was some good eating

Nice bird and nicer knowing there is a big one still out there getting bigger for next season.
