Default Need a new "first mate"

Getting kinda tired of takin guys out that are always "slackin" while on the job. Here's a few pics that illustrate what I mean.......

Yup, that's Phil....Old No. 7 hard at work

Later in the day.................................more of the same

And finally...............................this just put me over the edge.............Phil scrubbin the deck......................Not!

It's not like I was making him reel the fish in two at a time or anything like that......................

I guess the old saying is true...........................it's tough to find good help now a days.

    Mark,
Can you hang a hammock up for him?

You made me reel in a 41" , a coupla more fish, and then a double 37" and 40" , on the same rod on Thursday. You put a hurtin' on the fat boy. I was washing the deck and gunnels with your manual wash down system (bucket and brush).

Hopefully you weren'y playin' Aerosmith too loud, you might have interupted his nap.

No wonder ou only caught a 39 and some change Rock in the SRRKC ordeal....the mate was probably snoring.

    Now there's an Idea!!!

As far as the "39"", well Mark was "Had" by a definate over 40"er, who decided he didn't want to come on the boat, so as mark grabbed hold to pull er' in the boat, the rock went ape shit, throwing water all over mark, and then promptly tossed the hook outta it's mouth and went dive dive dive.. all we had to show for it was some bloodied nuckles.. All I can say is I did my job!!

Keep him around. He's good at pulling anchors. I would put him on probation for 30 days and make him wash your truck. I got a taser you can borrow too..............Gary

You'll only fall asleep on my boat once.

FYI: You wonder back to check a rod close to guy sleeping. He might look over but no big deal. He won't see you slip a loop on a long leader over the gear lever of the reel. You go back to helm and give it 5-10 minutes.

Gentle pull puts reel in free spool and clicker will sing ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Sleeping beauty will be up rest of the day.

    Mark,,
I heard the fish just jumped in your boat,
just to check out your new ride.
    No first-mate required.....
