Got a call from my cousin (bbswcc on the board) around 6pm while I was at Pet Smart with the family getting goods for the new Choc. Lab. He said the water was boiling!

So, I quickly moved everyone to the checkout and headed home to get my stuff. Made it down there in record time and was in the water by 7pm. We caught fish until 8:30 when it seemed to shutoff. They are here!

Well... not everywhere. I fished lower Gunpowder by Rt40 on Tuesday and almost got skunked!! Flow & clarity looked perfect but I only caught 2 hickory... Dunno what happened. Did catch several wperch from little to 9". Not many fishermen either.

Well I landed a few yesterday...but it's by no means a "run". I was fishing the river instead of the creek. still good to feel the line tighten.

The colder nights must have slowed them down a bit... It was great Monday... I'll probably be up there friday afternoon.
