    Default LSS-2 mounting location

I am looking for advice for the best place to mount my lss-2 transducer and 83/200 transducer. I have trim tabs and not a lot of room on the transom. Should I mount the transducers between the trim tab and motor, or on the other side of the trim tab past the strake? Lowrance's mounting instructions say the 2 transducers should be mounted within 12" of each other and my trim tab is 12", so I can't mount one on each side. If I mount them between the motor and trim tab, I'm afraid there will be too much turbulence from the trim tab or cavitation from the motor.

I would mount them to the left of the Tab.If your not going to use overlay you could put the LSS on one side and the skimmer on the other..

Or the skimmer inside the bilge

I flush mounted mine right to the center keel. It has worked flawless and I do not get anymore interference from the twin lower units and other two transom mounted ducers. The picture is much clearer in both directions.

Ready to fish spreads, from 5 ($75) to 13 ($190.00) lines in light, medium and heavy weight. ou will not find a better deal -ANYWHERE- Capt. Ken Lahr
