Hi Gang,
I have two 9wt Sage Xps that need some guide repair. Any suggestions of guys/shops around the area (Maryland Northern Virginia) that can do it.
Thanks
Brandon

Why not just send it back to Sage? Do they have the same warranty as Orvis?
Thanks Keith.
I am actaully not sure if the warranty would cover it, but I guess I should at least check.
Thx
B
I bet they do. Orvis covers me if I slam the rod in a car door. I sent mine in for a guide fix, and they rewrapped the whole thing. I think got a brand new grip as well.
Took about a month, I guess.
Brandon I am already fixed. Trying to reduce the guide population ??

Capt Mike Starrett
Joe Bruce's man worked on mine and worked on Lefty's as well, Id email Joe if interested. I think one of the Board member's works on them, I believe he is Patapsco Mike.
Brandon try Ken Preston-410-360-1730, he's a custom rod builder, he replaced all the guides on a Sage of mine. Quite resonable. http://kensfishingrods.com
Thanks everyone!
I've been very pleased at Phil's. He does good work.
