Caught 1 8" roundhead mothers day weekend fishing between Rodanthe and north of Avon.
Used fishbites bloodworm, squid, shrimp, crab and fresh shrimp. Fished two days.

I'll be down middle of June throwing metal (variety of stingsilvers) in the morning and evenings and soaking some fresh bait ( bunker or mullet if available) in between. Depending on what ramps are open, I'll fish Avon to Hatteras . I'll walk to the beach in front of the house some and fish, but most of my fishing will be down in Hatteras fishing for blues , looking for jumping spanish, and maybe a puppy if I get lucky. If you weren't aware of the ORV plan, you'll need a permit to drive the beach.

Yeah thats crazy about the permit. Most of the dam ramps are gonna be closed to becuase of the turtle spawning too....

I'll be down there next week I'll let you know if I have any luck or hear of anything going on. Most of my fishing wil be in a boat, with a little surf fishing, staying in salvo.
