Default 1000 hour service on Yamaha 4 stroke!

Can anyone recommend a good Yamaha mechanic to service my unit for a timing belt change?

Ed Miller is a mobile mechanic who knows Yamaha motors inside and out. He is based in Essex, but he can provide service on your engine at your site for an extra fee. I have used Ed for winterization the past two years, for replacement of my steering system, and for repairing the tilt/trim motor on my 70-hp Yamaha 2-stroke.

You can reach him at 410-375-1638.

I would not hesitate to have the Tri-State service department perform that type of work either. They did good work for me for many years.

I second Ed Miller! He is a certified Yamaha mechanic. He hooks a laptop up to your engine and can tell you how many hours you have, what your average speed is and can see what is going on with your motor (I asked him to bring the laptop whhen I scheduled my appointment with him). Gret guy who is extremely knowledgable and reasonably priced.
