    Default Waxing Boat - not done in 8 years

    I just came into possesion of new carolina skiff 21 center console. Cleaning the deck now. I see Woody's is recommended for protection. Do you think I should use a regular wax first since it has been so long. Can you use normal wax on non-skid surface? Should I hand wax the smooth areas and then use Woody's on everything including the non-skid?

    If it is your first time using Woody wax - be sure to follow instructions carefully.

    Also - BEWARE - when applying it - can be very slippery.
    What could be more mundane than dying of old age or of natural causes when there is death by misadventure to be pursued ? Skip
