OK folks. Still slow. Fished Fri and half day Sat. Five fiish Fri 2 keepers. Three fish Sat with 1 keeper. Headed to the tunnel for drum Sat afternoon. Talked to two charters and they didn't do any better than us. Down again this weekend. We'll see. BTW there are fish in front of old Coast Guard Station. Alll fish came from there.

Thanks for the report HB. I'll be down there Sunday and Monday this week. Not encouraged by it still being slow, but can't go two weeks without trying!

We went to Gargatha on Saturday and for yet another trip the water was filthy. Managed 3 fish with one keeper. Went to Wachapreague on Sunday and fished mostly on the bank near the old Coast Guard Station and had 15 fish with 3 keepers. My great-nephew caught his first ever keeper flounder. Talking to others, our experience seemed pretty representative. Not great, but much better with cleaner water than we have been seeing farther north.

    Default Gargatha was slow

Fished afternoon tide change Gargatha on last sat from 1-4. Lost a keeper at boat landed another short and took home a 17incher. We were in a 19' roughneck. SLOW GOIN, didnt see many caught.

Was down again this past weekend. Still slow but a good keeper percentage. Talked to some guys and saw the fish, they had a two day three man limit both Fri and Sat in the inlet, so can be done. Just need clean water and the right tide. BTW if you can get out on some wrecks the C-bassing is very good.

Jack, were they from N.C.? Older Guys? Used to see and talk to 3 or 4 Guys when I go down and they would almost always limit out when no one else did so well!!Haven't seen them on Memorial Day weekend the last 2 yrs. Maybe they changed when they come.
