Wasn't sure what to expect this morning...low tide was 8am or so..never liked fishing topwater on low tide...but luckily the fish didn't mind..![]()
Crew this morning was uncle phill and Coach23...by far theirs (and mine) favorite type of fishing is topwater fishing..
right now everything is in place for great topwater fishing..
this morning we had a bit of overcast sky so the falling tide was good enough...we had quite a few fish..doubles and triples were not uncommon..was a blast to see them fighting over the lures..
Nothing like "walking the dog" and seeing and hearing the explosion!
used lonely anglers..mirrolure top dogs..and stillwater smackits..
Limited out..didn't measure any fish but some were in the high 20's..possibly 29-30".. water temp was 67*
water clarity for jigging was approx. 8-10ft...WOW!
Marked alot of fish on the bottom..I assume they were feasting on may worms..
Only fish we could coax into biting were suspended..3/8oz-3/4oz jigheads.
Best bite was the end of the falling and beginning of the incoming..
Sorry for the camera pics..sometimes they don't look the same ..got a little to close on a couple (don't like background)..
Any way I have picked out my new camera..hope to have it by next week..
Couple of the pics are from last week...never got a chance to post..
If you have a couple hours to spare hit some points with good current and close to deep water...Bring along your favorite poppers..you may be surprised..
