Had the same problem with my 2000 Lincoln last year.Tried a load of web advise including short circuiting alarm wires etc.in the doors and under the dash. The thing would go off on its own at night and then reset.Be careful about disabling the alarm since it may block the car from starting. After days of trying I took it to the Ford dealer who put it on the computer and it was the trunk switch. The wires were disconnected and 1 yr later its still good.Take it to a different Honda dealer and it will probably be an easy fix.I think the computer check and fix were $140.My neighbors would have been happy to pay for it!

All you should have to do is unplug that hood switch, this will prevent the alarm from arming.
