Reds love live bluefish. Best to take them to Fisherman's Isle. Thanks for the report.
Hit the HRBT at dusk last evening. The blues were everywhere and very aggressive. Looking down the lightline, I could see 50-100 splashes at any given moment. There were striper in the lightline but I couldn't keep my bait away from the blues long enough to catch them. There were grey trout under the blues but they tended to be pretty small. I think I will hit the York River or the CBBT for the next couple weeks until the blues thin out at the HRBT. The largest blues last night were about 16".

Kingrat,
That's ironic after reading your post , I was thinking about trying the same thing that Mike just suggested last week but I never made it out to catch some fresh blues so I didn't pursue it....I definitely would give that a try though...just designate one of your lines and try it out with live one (or freshly cut as second option)...you may even get a nice cobe out of the deal who knows....if you do try it, please update us on how it goes for ya. Thanks for the report & tight lines.....![]()
