Default World Record (maybe) Snakehead Caught in the Potomac/Occoquan on Kinky Beaver!

Anything that eats a Kinky Beaver gets my attention. Pretty nice fish. Seems those snakeheads are turning into a real game fish on the Potomac. I wonder how far down the Potomac into brackish water you can catch them. Here is the story:

That record will definitely be short lived. there are fish bigger than that. Also no way it was 48 inches long.

I didnt realize the record was only 17lbs, here is a pic of my coworker and the snakehead he caught this past Sunday 5\13, on the potomac at chain bridge road. He didnt have any way of measuring the weight but it was big one....it was caught 10 feet off the banks using catfish stink bait. Now I wish he would've weighed and measured it.
