Croaker are in the Coan River

Caught 4 last night in about 30 minutes off my dock near Walnut Point. All on squid.

Coan Ranger, Congrats on catching some croakers. After trolling for stripers and not catching any we tried fishing for croaker below the Hog Island reef area in 15 to 17 foot of water where I normally catch croaker. Made one long drift using 4 rods with bottom rigs baited with shrimp and no croakers caught. Came back to marina and fished from the docks and caught 2 white perch.

Coan Ranger Fished the opposite side of the Potomac from you by boys camp in 18 feet water. Caught 2 medium sized croaker and called it a night. Both on squid. So they're here!
