Hit the river via the state park... my son & I had a hankering for that croaker bite. We had to work for em but we got 33 good eating sized croakers. I learned a few things along the way, a single hook #1/#2 octopus hookssnelled directly to the main line, 6-8 inches above a 2 oz sinker out fishes any 2 hook rig out there &my sons tip of the day... save your money, garlic salted shrimp out fished bloodworm by a wide margin... my tip get a chart, fish the oyster beds... tad windy but all in all we had a blast
Best bite came on our last 2 spots as the sun was setting, I am sure the. the size of fish was p lying improving the later it got but the ramp closes at sunset, so we left em biting
