Anyone heading out this Friday out of OC or IRI?
We are going to try to avoid the weekend crowd and are planning on heading out Friday. Hopefully we will get a Sat shot by then and the south/East winds push the water back in.
Ill be on channel 1 out of IRI and hopefully some others will be out there helping to scout for fish.
The shot I have right now shows water outside the Tea Cup and the Dog but who the hell knows after the weekend blow

I use SST Online as my primary source and then use Rutgers and Buoyweather as validation of what I am seeing on the SST.
If they all agree, then I take that as my best guess foir the sea temps. Now that SST Online has the mobile app that is the chart I use when offshore as it is the latest on my iphone and I can use it as a guide
Not a science by any stretch but it gets me close

Thanks John. I use have used Rutgers just because it is the resource that Sunset Marina's site has a link to. Hopefully I will see or talk to ya out there on Friday. Good luck.

I plan on being out there on Saturday. Depending on the sat shot, we are either going to stay close for sharks or venture out to the deep for some tunas.

Planning to head out with JoshKaptur Saturday and Sunday. Would love to hear any reports (good or bad) from you guys fishing Thursday or friday. Thanks in advance. Our plan (weather and water dependent) is to head to the canyons for tuna on Saturday, then look for Mr. Mako that evening and or Sunday morning. Might run out of Chinco depending on water/reports. Any help/advice/reports are appreciated.
