Get out the Tonys and rubber hoses and roll me another one. The 70s are back
Call me crazy but I'm thinking the late Capt. George some how had a hand in that catch.
If it's the only big Blue caught this year - I'll bet more will agree with me.
What could be more mundane than dying of old age or of natural causes when there is death by misadventure to be pursued ? Skip

Skip,
I agree, maybe Blues from heaven. Capt. George keeping the Stormy Petrel on good fish.
Had a lot of fun on the boat with Captains George and Steve. T-bone is looking good so far.
The "Stormy" still has her mojo!

Man that's a sweet blue. Be really nice if we had schools of them roaming the bay again.
SO MANY FISH, SO LITTLE TIME
He must have been lost, hope we can get a couple of those this weekend, not the normall dinks!

Caught a lot of them many years ago. Like rockfish better for eating but these things sure do fight and to get airborne.

Sure hope that's not the only one that size, I could use some good bluefish trolling this summer. They've been getting bigger every year in mid bay, last summer there were a lot of 26-27" ones about 6lbs and a lot 24" before that so perhaps we'll have some big schools at least 28" this year.
Shark bait.
